Present Moment Experience

Being in our present moment experience (PME) is good for us.  Noticing gravity, perhaps. Opening out our awareness to notice what we can hear in the present moment. Feeling the quality of the breath going in. And the breath going out.

Getting curious. Noticing the tone of the mind - is it busy or quiet? Are thoughts racing or sluggish? Do they shift from one thing to another to another, or are they moving in a circular way?

What is the emotional quality of right now? How am I feeling? What might like me to give it more attention? What might like to receive less attention, right now?

Am I ‘shoulding’ myself? Is there an inner critic?

Or stress?

Or is something feeling collapsed, right now? Like sluggish or giving up? What shape does that make in the body? Are the shoulders hunched? Is the chest caved in? How does it feel to bring some attention to that?

And feeling into the whole thing … the sense of the whole body and perhaps even extending out to the room or the wider world around it … what is it like, right now?

What does it feel like to feel it all?

And what might be a word that wants to bubble out of the feeling of the whole thing, being in presence, right now?
